Citing a Newsletter Article in APA Style

List the name of the author. List the last name first, then a comma, and then the author's first initial.

Oldman, G.

List the year of publication in parentheses, followed by a period.

List the full title of the article, followed by a period. Only the first letter of the first word of the title should be capitalized.

Sustainable leadership in corporate communities.

List the title of the newsletter in italics, followed by a comma.

The Weekly,

List the volume number in italics, followed by the issue number in parentheses. Place a comma after this information. The issue number should not be italicized.

If the newsletter you are citing does not have a volume or issue number, skip this step.

List the page or pages on which the article appears, followed by a period.

List the date of publication, followed by a colon. Be as specific as possible. If possible, provide the year, month, and day.
